Compliance Check overview
Osano Compliance Check loads your website to assess cookie, consent, and privacy-signal behavior. If your firewall blocks the scan, use these guides to configure access.
Allow scan access
Osano signs scan requests by default for customer organizations. You can also assign custom headers when your firewall needs a header-based access rule.
| Guide | What to configure |
|---|---|
| Verified Bots | Allow Osano's verified identity through Cloudflare and configure robots.txt for the pages you want scanned. |
| Custom Headers | Create a header group in Osano and use its name and value in your firewall rule. |
Share the relevant guide with the team that manages your firewall.
Check the result
After saving your settings, run a new compliance check and record the scan time. Find the requests in your firewall events, then confirm that the access rule matched and the expected pages loaded.
If the scan is still blocked, check the matched rule, redirect hostnames, and robots.txt settings. For help, send Osano Support the domain, scan identifier, scan time with timezone, and firewall event details.
